Mexican BBQ Sauce And Marinade

Try this on those burgers or just about any meat you cook out on the grill this weekend!

 

1 bottle (14 oz) catsup
1/4 cup water
2 teas dry mustard
1/2 teas chili powder
1 teas celery salt
1/2 teas ground cumin
1/4 teas ground cloves
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 teas hot sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp grated onion

 

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in frig until ready to use. Can be used as a marinade for chicken, steak, ribs or pork chops. Marinade over night and baste with the sauce while grilling……….enjoy! Oh don’t forget to have a couple of Corona beers while you’re cooking!

White Wine Basting Sauce And Marinade

This recipe is perfect for those who don’t like a tomato based BBQ sauce { are you crazy?  just kidding } and great for pork or chicken on the grill!

 

 

1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup white wine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/2 teas salt
1/2 teas celery salt
1/2 teas freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teas thyme
1/4 teas marjoram
1/4 teas rosemary

 

Combine all ingredients in a shallow baking dish, cover and refrigerate for several hours to let the flavors meld. Marinate chicken or pork in sauce overnight, turning occasionally, and baste with marinade while grilling. Enjoy!
