BBQ Cranberry Chicken Wings
I love cranberry sauce with my chicken and I really love the crock-pot pork with cranberry I posted back on December 13, 2011, just never thought of marinating wings like this recipe!
3-1/2 to 4 lbs chicken wings
1 can (8 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
1-1/2 teas packed brown sugar
1 teas yellow mustard
1 teas Worcestershire sauce
Combine the cranberry, sugar, mustard and Worcestershire in a saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Place wings in a shallow dish, single layer. Pour sauce over chicken, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Cook, covered, over medium coals 5-6 inches from heat for 20 to 35 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade 2-3 times during the cooking time. A nice sweet, sticky chicken to enjoy the next time you BBQ, maybe for the 4th of July!
P.S. Have lots of napkins for these tasty treats!
