Crock Pot Vegetable Casserole
A nice compliment to pork roast!
4 tbls butter
2 cups peeled and diced turnips
2 cups peeled and diced carrots
2 cups peel and diced sweet potatoes
2 teas salt
1/4 teas black pepper
1/2 teas oregano
1 cup water
Butter the entire inside of your crock pot. Combine all the veggies with the seasonings and place in your cooker. Add the water, cover and cook for 6-8 hours or until tender, on low setting. This is a nice way to cook during the summer to keep the heat out of the kitchen!
