Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Came across this recipe somewhere and can’t wait for my sprouts to finish growing!

 

 

1 ½ lbs Brussels sprouts, shredded
6 slices of bacon
1 ½ cups chopped onions
½ teas thyme
1 can (14 ½ oz) chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste

 

Chop bacon and cook in a skillet for 4 minutes. Add the onion and thyme and cook until the onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes………these are one of my favorite dishes especially with baked ham or pork chops!!!!
