Sweet Potato Au Gratin

Sweet potatoes are always in our house in one form or the other!

2 large sweet potatoes
1 egg, beaten
2 cups whipping cream
¾ teas salt
1/8 teas nutmeg
3 tbsp parmesan cheese

Peel and slice potatoes ¼ inch thick and place in a greased 8-inch baking dish. Combine the egg, cream, salt and nutmeg and mix well. Pour over the potatoes and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in a 375 degree oven, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes or until potatoes are tender. What a delish side to baked ham!

  1. Dear Andrey, my favorite knives are Old Hickory which we have several of. They sharpen so well! We also have an old knife that we believe to be homemade and that one is Kenny’s favorite for cutting up roasts when we grind our own burger!!! Thanks for asking, Regina
