Down South Stuffing

With the holidays approaching, I guess I’m on a stuffing kick today!

This recipe will accommodate an 8-10 pound turkey…..

 

½ cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
6 tbsp butter
5 cups corn bread crumbs
3 cups dry bread cubes
1 teas poultry seasoning
1 can (10 ½ oz) cream of chicken soup
¼ cup milk

 

In a skillet, melt butter and saute the onion and celery until tender. Combine with the corn bread, bread cubes and poultry seasoning and mix well. Blend soup and milk and pour over the bread mixture and mix lightly. Stuff the bird and get ready for some truly down south taste!
