Another great meal to free up your time and keep you out of the kitchen


1 lb boneless round steak, cut in ½ inch cubes
2 tbls vegetable oil
1 can (14 ½ oz) diced tomatoes
3 cups water
2 medium potatoes, cubed
2 medium onions, diced
3 celery ribs, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 can (11oz) corn, or 2 ears fresh, cut off the cob
½ lb fresh green beans, cut in 1 inch pieces
3 beef bouillon cubes
½ teas of each: basil, oregano, salt and pepper


In a heavy skillet, slightly brown the steak pieces in the oil; transfer to Crock-Pot. Add the remaining ingredients, cover and cook on high for 6-8 hours until vegetables and meat are tender. I like to serve mine with some hot, fresh garlic bread. Soup’s On!!!
